I hired Mark to assist me in re-build and structure a $23 million, 650 employee non-profit human service organization that was decentralized and had just absorbed a $1.8 million loss at the close of their fiscal year. Mark’s role was to build processes and business systems into our organization and also help me lead a cultural shift in our non-profit to an accountable, transparent and system oriented matrix organization. As a result of Mark’s efforts, we centralized business systems, customer relationship management processes, and are implementing a strategy he suggested of building capacity through innovation centers (best practices) in each of our human service business units. Our business has turned around, in part, because of the systems we designed with Mark and executed over the past three years.
